Alicia Dunn, b. 1960, Havana, Cuba. A visual artist, Alicia creates spirited paintings which capture the energy of the natural world. The work achieves a luminosity that is both invigorating and serene.
Raised in Brooklyn, she currently lives and works in Oakland. Alicia’s first career was in advertising. She started painting in her forties and never stopped.
Represented by UGallery, her paintings have been carried by Williams Sonoma Home, Crate & Barrel and 1stDibs. She also has work in the Permanent Collection at Scripps Hospital, La Jolla. Her work is collected internationally.
